Join us for our next Beer School event next month on Saturday, June 28th! During Beer School, attendees will learn about all grain brewing, home brewing and how to start, tour our on-site brewing facilities and sample some rare beers pulled from our head brewer’s personal cellar.
Cost to attend is $25 and all attendees receive a special discount on any additional food and drinks. This is a fun experience just in time for Father’s Day, graduation and for any fans of beer.

The Lab’s Beer School will take you through the all-grain brewing process, home brewing and give you a tour of our on-site brewing operation and include beer tastings. Beer School participants will also be able to add-on additional beverages and food to enjoy at a 15% discount.

The hilarious performance “A Brief History of Beer” to hit The Lab’s stage.
This Thursday join us for a very special performance of the ONLY Los Angeles tour stop for the award-winning comedy show “A Brief History of Beer.”
This hilarious one-hour show takes the audience through a fun ramble of the myths and history of the world’s favorite beverage: BEER. The show has already toured the UK, Australia and New Zealand and now embarks on its first North American tour.
We are so lucky to be the one-and-only Los Angeles stop for this special experience. Check out the event details here.
The 2013 Holiday season was a great one for us and we’d like to thank everyone who stopped by in December and donated a new unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.
We collected over a hundred toys to give to children in need over the holiday season. Everyone that donated to our toy drive received a FREE house brew and we were never so happy to toast to our generous customers. Thanks for helping us help make a difference to some local kids for the holidays!

New Year’s Eve rocked at The Lab.
We had one of our biggest and best parties ever this New Year’s Eve! Chef Wes created a special New Year’s menu that included short ribs and yellowfin tartare. The band Mini Driver took to the stage at 10pm and we all rang in the new year with a countdown, complimentary champagne and lots of party hats and party favors for all the guests.
The Berlin lead singer Terri Nunn gave a surprise NYE performance.
One special guest in particular surprised us all when she took to the stage to sing a couple of her classic hits! Many thanks to Terri Nunn of the band Berlin for ringing in 2014 with us and for giving us the surprise performance we could have never expected! One lucky couple even got ENGAGED on our dance floor! It’s a night we won’t soon forget and we’re so glad so many of your spent it with us. We’re looking forward to another great year of serving you great food, great brews and great music and events. Cheers!

Executive Chef Wes Pumphrey
Meet our new Executive Chef, Wes Pumphrey. Wes has been bringing some exciting and delicious menu updates to The Lab.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Wes lived in San Francisco and worked at La Folie perfecting classic French technique, eventually helping open the Monk’s Kettle, a gastropub in the Mission District. Back in Los Angeles, he worked at Craft in Century City, opened the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, and worked for Jose Andres at the Bazaar. He focuses on American with an emphasis on Southern cuisine while reinventing classics…elevated comfort food. We’re happy to have him at The Lab and we know you’ll love his food.
This month, The Lab turns 2! We’ll celebrate our two-year anniversary with a special event on Thursday, November 21st.
During our Anniversary Party, we will tap two new beers:
Belgian Dubbel Style Ale
Imperial Pale Lager
We will also release a keg of our Hop Solution Double IPA that has been Double Dry Hopped and will be served on Nitro. You don’t want to miss it!
You’ll enjoy free samples of the Dubbel and free passed appetizers from Chef Wes from 6pm-8pm and new R&D specials will be available all evening!
The live music starts at 7:30pm. Urban Dread will open with a jazzy dinner set followed by their jammin’ Reggae set we all love.
